Best Google Analytics Tracking Code to Reduce Bounce Rate in WordPress

Google Analytics is must if need to see the site stats real time visitor tracking with google search engine optimization. But the problem is Google Analytics is very poor to calculate the bounce rate if any visitor comes to your site and leave the site without any interaction like commenting, clicking or any kind of events. For that on Google Analytics Data, your bounce rate goes up.

The Problem is, “The Advertiser see the Google Analytics Data, and when they see your site got high bounce rate, simply they lowered their offer amount for ads on your site

So Today I came up with a custom code that will help you create a custom event of 30 seconds that makes the visitor as labeled “Profitable Engagement”. And It will definitely help you to get lower the bounce rate. The Code is Universal not for WordPress only. You can use that code anywhere like in Blogger, Joomla or any kind of CMS.

Don’t use Reduce Bounce Rate Plugin For WordPress!!!

I have earlier used reduce bounce rate plugin for many of my websites. But the problem is this plugin triggers an event after every 10 seconds indefinitely which tells the google complete page loading time that this page is loading indefinitely. So your Google Page Rank falls so rapidly when you are using this plugin.

The Reduce Bounce Rate Custom Google Code Goes Below

<script>
 (function(i,s,o,g,r,a,m){i['GoogleAnalyticsObject']=r;i[r]=i[r]||function(){
 (i[r].q=i[r].q||[]).push(arguments)},i[r].l=1*new Date();a=s.createElement(o),
 m=s.getElementsByTagName(o)[0];a.async=1;a.src=g;m.parentNode.insertBefore(a,m)
 })(window,document,'script','https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js','ga');

 ga('create', 'UA-XXXXXXXX-X', 'auto');
 ga('send', 'pageview');
 ga('require', 'linkid', 'linkid.js');
 ga('require', 'displayfeatures');
 setTimeout("ga('send','event','Profitable Engagement','time on page more than 30 seconds')",30000);

  1. Hi,
    I am using the Reduce Bounce Rate plugin myself with very good results. I have some comments on what you write here:
    I have earlier used reduce bounce rate plugin for many of my websites. But the problem is this plugin triggers an event after every 10 seconds indefinitely which tells the google complete page loading time that this page is loading indefinitely. So your Google Page Rank falls so rapidly when you are using this plugin.

    First of all you have to figure out how come your page load takes more than 10 seconds. It is way above the suggested and not recommended (75% of the 1,058 people asked would not return to websites that took longer than *four* seconds to load.). If you are already having a website that loads this slow the plugin doesn’t drop your Google Ranking. It’s the website itself.
    Second, the plugin has a Options page where you can change the events frequency. It takes less than 5 seconds to change it to 20 seconds instead of the default 10 seconds.
    So Today I came up with a custom code that will help you create a custom event of 30 seconds that makes the visitor as labeled “Profitable Engagement”.. There is not difference in setting the plugin option to fire an event every 30 seconds and your way. 30 seconds is 30 seconds..
    You basic goal is to modify your Analytics data in order to fool possible investors. The plugin’s goal is to get the real website data into Analytics.
